I took my camera in the downtown today to shoot some photos for my portfolio and play with some women, as well. When I first arrived, I found it very difficult to work any approaches. The early approaches I did work got blown out as well. Now that I look back on it, the way I presented myself was as a reserved and conservative individual. I reframed my approach a few sets layer, lowered my energy level, and started throwing around a few pauses in my dialogue. People became more receptive and open to my approaches then.

As I moved into a more influential mental state, I also noticed I naturally gained presence in the square I was working. I naturally felt inclined to speak to people, to pull people over to my reality, and to open and be open. I started viewing the field as an actual field and not just people wandering around; I saw them as pawns and pieces that I could assemble to meet my goals.

I initially travelled from street to street, offering out my camera services. This is where I got the most declines for the reasons I mentioned. I eventually travelled back to the central downtown spot and opened more sets there. I had a lot more success here and I felt more in state. I opened a lot of people who were around the area for some time, like people handing out flyers, which made me feel more good about the area. It felt like I captured and held objective points.

With these people secured, I stopped and opened moving sets. People were far more compliant than they were earlier here which is largely because I was more compliant with myself and my goals.

One of my larger sticking points, aside from kino and conservative talks is climbing different stages of the attraction ladder. I still can't consciously track myself up the ladder too well. Granted, today wasn't a day fully committed to pickup as it was to photography, there were some approaches I did for the sake of approaching and not exclusively photography. I can leave compliments here and there and go direct fine but beyond that, I'm still fairly confused.

I did get one or two #closes though, despite the lack of kino and general escalation, and I'm sure they were closes on the dating side of things, but these sticking points... Man. All in all, still a great day.
