I'll try to make this a fairly short and straight-forward field report.

So I went out last Friday night to some bars/clubs for Halloween. I did the usual pregame with some friends, and we went to a bar that we've been to before. I was dressed up as a famous soccer player, and just wanted to have a fun time, wasn't looking for anything in particular, just to enjoy seeing cool costumes and what not.

So I walked into the bar with my 3 friends, and we make our way to the bar, admiring all the costumes we pass by. One of my friends wanted to get pictures with various girls with interesting costumes, and I'd offer to take it. However, with one of the girls, he gets next to her and says "Hey Dynamus, take our picture" and then the girl starts to make fun of my name. I was in a good mood, but that was just kind of annoying, so I just look at her and say "No, fuck you" all the while I'm smirking. She pretends to be offended but tries to push me into taking it, but I keep refuting tell her not after what she said, all with a smile. Finally she gives up, I turn around to get my drinks at the bar, and I thought I'd never see her again.

I go to the bathroom, and head to the dance floor where I met up with a different group of friends from the ones I entered with. Lo and behold, it's the girl previously mentioned. I walk up to our friend circle and say "Oh, it's you..." and she shoots back "Oh, hey..." and keep in mind, I'm still just really enjoying myself, having fun, so I went ahead and asked her what her name was, and instantly made fun of it, her smile got bigger and we eventually start dancing. Ended up with a # and k-close, and she's been blowing up my phone ever since.

Moral of the story, just go out and have fun. Girls are attracted to guys that look like they are enjoying themselves, because (other than it being social proof) they'll want to join in on the fun too. An inviting smile or smirk that just screams "Yeah, I'm here having fun with or without you" will really do a good number on your confidence and frame.
