This is my first time posting a field report. I'll try to keep it short and sweet. This was from a few nights ago.

I approached a couple of warm up sets to get started. Often times I'll start with a direct opener like: "Hi, you look adorable. I wanted to come over and say hi." When the set doesn't feel good to me or the girl isn't feeling good. I usually eject with high energy like I'll ask for a high five and bail as oppose to saying it was nice to meet you I'll see you around. The former gives me a chance to reopen.

The first set I approach is a three set. The girl is about a 7. She is swaying to the music. I come up to her and tell her to come dance with me. She says I'm a terrible dancer. I reply: "So,am I." I ask her again, she doesn't comply. So, I tell her she looks hella adorable who are are you? She says her name and I extend my hand out to shake hands with her. I don't let go of her hand and instead I spin her around. I try to keep high energy, big smile, a lot of laughing. I cold read her and say wait your Colombian? Before she answers I say no you can't be and say you have to be Dominican. She smiles and says yeah I am. We talk briefly about traveling and her friends tell her that were moving to another part in the venue. She looks at me and says you can follow my friend-she turns her back to me and starts walking.

I didn't feel like I built enough rapport and I felt like if I followed her I would have seemed beta. I left her and later on in the night reconnected with her. We spoke for a few minutes and literally her friends came up again and said we had to go. I tried to be quick and ask her how do we keep in touch? She gave me her number, I texted from her phone to mine. I texted her the next day and she flaked- Not a fan of numbers and I felt like the rapport wasn't there. Also, couldn't remember her name for the life of me!

This was set was a lot more interesting and I really pushed myself on this one. I approached a two set sitting on the bench. I opened with the same opener. The girl I opened said her friend doesn't speak much English as she is from Paris. And for the first time in my life, learning french came in handy. I spoke very briefly with her in french. And I went back to the girl I originally opened. We chatted for a bit about everything. I tried to get her to open up about her life-She did. My goals in pickup right now is to get more Isolation and more K-closing done. I quickly built rapport with them as we talked back and forth in French. She stayed in Paris as well. I visited Paris. I asked her to come dance with me as she was vibing to a song. She declined. I went back into convo mode. I tried to ISO again by asking her to meet my friends. She would not budge at all- she said to bring my friends here like very emphatically. My wing ironically came at the right time as I wasn't sure what to do. He isolated the French speaking friend, but ended up bailing as he thought she wasn't interested in him. It turns out that he didn't know that she spoke very little English. I go back to talking with my girl and later a random guy Isolates the french girl. I end up taking advantage of it. As she is about to light her cigarette, I tell her to wait and make out with her. I pull back as she wasn't fully into it and say I wanted to do that before your breath was gonna smell like cigarettes in a teasing way. She for the life of me would not leave that one spot she was in- no matter how hard I tried. I felt like literally picking her up, but didn't know if it would come across creepish. It also didn't help when she killed the vibe by saying she was bi polar depressive and thinks about killing her self. I tried switching topics and stayed there for about another 10 minutes. I eventually ejected, I didn't want her number or anything. I kissed her goodnight and went on my way. Very weird set.
