Hello!, so i did my first approach ever so im in highschool so "the game" is slightly different in here. I know FR are not suppose to be AMAZING so I didn't have my hopes up. Now to the situation: Me and my buddies are walking down the hall and we see this HB 7.5/8, what i learned from seddit and from PUA videos is not to overthink it and just fucking do it, so i did. Keep in mind she was alone on her phone doing stuff so it wasn't that hard to talk to her.

Me:"Hi you look like a pretty cool girl, my name is HouseMusic0". I felt like I opened up nicely and she smiled and said Her: "hey Im HB7/8 nice to meet you!" I must admit here that after that I was slightly blank in my mind and all I though I knew about PUA was gone, I tried to maintain a solid eye contact which i think i held pretty well for my first approach. back to the story! Me: "where are you from?" (I didn't think things threw and tried to be in the moment as much as possible, but at the moment I didn't have anything in mind to keep the conversation flowing. Her: "blah blah blah" Me:" That's really cool" ( she was from out of state so i could have asked her how was it living there and such but she said). Her: "where are you from" which I took as a IOI since she contributed to the conversation so that was a good sign. Me: "blah blah blah" Am mixed in skin color so that was I guess the reason why she asked since I wasn't white/black. Her: "that's really cool!" Me:"I really would like to get to know you, how about giving me your number?" Not the smoothest of ways on getting a number but i tried! Her: With a smile on her face "sure" after she put her number on my phone I said goodbye and gave her.... A god damn hand shake, she was carrying a binder with her but she did shake my hand and we parted ways.

In class I realized that I didin't save her number and I felt like a total beta which I am but I don't want to be, I read that I should text her right then and there so she knows its me and that I didn't get the wrong number but I was nervous so I left quick.

THANK GOD! I found her at the buss loop and she was standing where she was easily noticed and she noticed me there standing with a group of friends. I assumed since I didn't text her she was basically saying, hey why didint you text me or something since I never see her there. I told a good friend of mine about what happened and he walked up to her and and started talking about what happened 5 seconds in I came in and he left, so it was me and her again and I told her what happened and she laughed and smiled and I handed my phone to her and she put her number and name, I textd her there to make sure it was her number and it was. All was good.

I had to go (friend picking me up) so I told her I would text her once I charged my battery. a few hours later I told her that I was good, and asked a question about her, she replied with a long message with her answer, we had common interest and I'd say it went well. after about half n hour of texting about goals and stuff. What I learned from seddit is not to be Needy nor to text without a reason / logistics. I gave it some time before replying since i didnt want to come off as needy, we both stopped texting then for what ever the reason I had the last text answering her question.

I wait for the next day (school day), during lunch I asked her if she had an ID that could leave campus. (its a school thing) she dosent reply for the entire day, as I said I didint want to be needy so i left it, I didint get to see her that day. On to the folowing day still no reply I see her in the hallway and say "hi" and she replies "hi" with a smile on her face.

What went threw my mind is that she is playing "hard to get" and that she wanted me to chase her, but i wanted to through her off of her game and just didn't follow her and I would go up to her on Monday and pretend like nothing happened.

I haven't texted her since and I would appreciate your opinions on this matter. THANK YOU!
