A little background info, I'm a senior in high school, well built not too shabby in the looks either, shes a junior fairly focused in her studies, the type to walk to class quickly, which was is the main reason I made progress slowly. First met her at the library, and then the next few days with her friend

Built some kino, got lots of IOI (heavy eye contact from her whenever she passed by in the halls) Once asked her if she wanted to go out to this awesome forest/park during spring break(she mentioned multiple times she liked nature) but she messaged on facebook saying got a cold and couldn't, not sure if she flaked purposely.

but now recently she suddenly goes cold, and her friend whom she is almost always with starts acting real bitchy towards me, so I'm assuming her friend might swayed her against me.

So seddit should I just make this a lost cause and move on (I preferably don't want to because this is the only cute/available girl at my school I currently have any interest in)

or should I somehow try to fix this, something like messaging her on facebook saying something like "I didn't know you were the type that needs your friends permission for everything." And get her on a date to validate herself

-but that would be assuming that her friend is telling her against me, which I'm not completely sure of but seems to be the only reasonable explanation.

And the forest thing is actually a public park that was made from the largest remaining forest land in our city but I guess thats not the real point
