So I've recently moved to a new place and yesterday I was doing some shopping to liven up the place. One of the things I was out to buy was a LED shower handle that changes color according to water temperature, (a bit tacky, I know - but fun as hell!) so I went to a shop in the middle of town that sells a lot of useful/less stuff (Teknikmagasinet) and asked the cashier if they had any.
Cashier was a decent-looking girl, nothing out of the ordinary but pretty cute with freckles and a good body. Conversation went as follows (cashier girl name has been altered):
Me: "Hey ... looks at nametag Nathalie! What a pretty name!"
N: "Thanks! How may I help?"
Me: "I'm looking for one of those LED shower handles, so I can feel like I'm showering in a strip club! I'm pretty sure I'll be hot stuff!"
N: "Haha ok! We've got those over here!" picks one off a shelf and hands it to me
Me: "Neat! Do you know if the LED can be turned off? You know, in case I ever get tired of my bright-red naked self?"
N: "No, I don't think so. Why'd you want to turn it off though? I used to have one myself tough, and I never really got bored with it. It's super fun to shower with the lights off with one of these!"
Me: "You're right, it'd take more for someone to get bored of seeing one's self naked, and shower with the lights off? I like the way you think, Nathalie! Won't it get a bit dark though, or does this thing light up enough for you to see?"
N: At this point she's leaning over the desk towards me "You see.. enough, haha!"
Me: "Great, I'll take it! How much will I owe you for it?"
N: "I'm gonna need about three fiddy" <-- not actual price
Me: "Three fiddy, here you go!"
She hands me the receit and take it while smiling and not breaking eye contact. I grab a nearby pen and hand it to her
Me: "One last thing: If you'd write your number on the back here so I can call you some time when you're not working"
N: blushing and looking away, but still leaned over and clearly flattered "Sorry, I don't give my number to customers"
Me: grin "I'm only a customer as long as I'm in this shop. I can walk you outside and ask again."
N: "Haha alright I get it, but I do have a boyfriend"
Me: "I see! Well, have a great afternoon then!"
And after that I just left. It was a pretty short interaction, and both of us were smiling all the way through. Also a pretty easy one since I could open and get sligthly sexual by just talking and asking about what I was buying. I don't mind getting turned down like that, flirting with cashiers are a great way to practice daygame! It does not have to yield anything to be good practice, and even if you don't get any flirtateous responses from her, you can banter on without worrying about it getting awkward. She's paid to talk to you, and everyone appreciates a customer who has a personality (I say that from experience, I used to work in retail. Customers who are actually involved and joking/talking really brightens the dull hours!).
there doesn't seem to be anything here
