My first time posting in Reddit :)

Well I have this friend that I know since 6 grade, she says that I have always been her best friend (yea i am friend zone jaja). In 9th grade i got changed from school and after that I didn’t knew much about her and we didn’t talk almost. Then in university(we go tu different university’s) we started talking again but it was something short, that “hi how you been” type of conversation. We only have that convo like 2-3 times a year and we only see each other like 1-2 times a year after finishing school 3 year a go. She has always known that I was interested on her but nothing more happened. This year tho (2018) this last month we have been talking but a little more and I see that she answers a little bit different from the usual and even told me that we have to go out one day (like friend imagine). The thing is i am bad at reading this type of situations. Now what I wanted to ask you guy if this can be something or this is normal as friend?
