Idek why I’m writing this. If anything it’s fascinating to see how far I’ve come. I remember Todd V’s advice, where he said even he gets AA because when we have such a good experience, such as pulling (my last night out), we become even more outcome dependent, because we see anything less than our last best outcome a failure. This made it so I didn’t even value the kiss last night in the moment (until after, I realized it was actually pretty dope).
I just opened a girl while dancing through making eye contact and mimicking moves. I talked to her briefly, loud clubs give an excuse to get close and keep it physical. We were making out within a minute or two (right at midnight), easy. She was pretty cute, 22F grad student.
I noticed that after this, even though I was approaching set after set, no one else hooked. I’m not sure if I came off as arrogant, or girls thought I was leeching value, but it was a weird experience because I was having a ton of fun dancing, and barely any girls wanted to dance with me (many have in the past, and have even approached me to dance). Perhaps this is just bad luck, or idk. Some lessons I wrote down:
-have a better excuse for being along if not in state -commit to the interaction -plow through until the hook point or overt rejection -approach more sets at the bar so I can talk, not just on the dance floor -do more interesting opens? Try opinion openers? -ask more girls to dance —I did a lot of sets but I could do more Happy new years, I can’t wait to approach and game more than ever before this year, got big plans😼
