Hey all, I am a senior in college (23 M) and my gf and I broke up in April. I’ve been working on myself over the summer and trying to get back up from the sadness of losing someone you really liked. I think I’m ready to get back out there but I’m struggling with even approaching women.
My last gf and I met on Tinder but honestly I don’t think dating apps are really for me so I wanna try the cold approach but I don’t think I have any game lol. To describe myself I’m 5’6” and I’m fit and I work out a few times a week. You can see what I look like if you’re curious on my past posts and such.
I just wanna know how I can deal with social anxiety, I actually did go to a college event where we talk to random people, it’s called Speed Friending and I met a girl there but she has a bf. I was just standing in line and she was behind me. I just said “fuck it” and started a conversation with her. It was so tough for the first bit, I was shaking like crazy but I kept talking and I eventually stopped shaking so much.
I guess is there anyway to get better with my social anxiety? I want to be able to approach a cute girl on campus but I keep stopping myself because I don’t wanna be shaking so damn much haha. Any tips would be great!
Also what’s the best place to approach a girl, like when she’s walking on campus or sitting down on a bench or eating, I don’t wanna make them feel uncomfortable. I’m just totally new to this whole cold approach thing.
Thanks!
