Guys, game is 99% situational.

Looking back on notes I took when I was 22 and just getting into this and comparing it to my social circles now, it's obvious.

Let’s say you’re at a college party and you’re 22 and you’re around a ton of girls ages 19 - 23 and they’re all DTF in exploratory mode and half-drunk. And you’re just being funny, cocky, confident, and raw honest. Do you think you can get laid? Of course you can get laid. That’s what the girls are HOPING will happen. It’s maybe even the most likely outcome as long as you know how to isolate with the girl who has shown you the most interest all night.

Now let’s say you are that same 22 year old and you’re at an upscale cocktail party with professional women ages 30+. These girls also want a different guy. They want an older man, who will provide kids for them, who already has his career and maturity figured out. They are not going to fuck a 22 year old immature bratty kid even though he is cocky and funny and confident. Some of them might. But the odds suddenly went way down.

But how do you get the odds up in that situation? Well, you become a 35- or 37 year old guy who makes six figures and drives a nice car and is also refined, smooth, sophisticated, and witty and urbane. Next to each other those two men -- the 22 year old and the 37 year old -- are going to look completely different. One has 10+ years of experience & maturity on the other. Women who want babies (remember, genetic material) are going to go for one guy over another and they won’t necessarily be DTF him that night they’ll want him to take their number and take them out. They want husband status which means a man of means, wealth, maturity & stability who is probably looking for the same thing they are. They might be DTF the 22 year old but they wouldn’t call him and they wouldn’t be excited to tell their parents they fucked a 22 year old.

The point is, “game” is 99% situational. there’s no line that works in all situations. There’s no line that works for all people. What everybody tries to do is say, “This is what works for me! It’s tested.” and the only truth there is IT’S TESTED TO WORK FOR THEM.

Now of course broad strokes works. Humor works. Confidence works. Being assertive works. Touching women works if you do it right.

But also NOT touching women works. Being deadpan works. Being cold works. Being warm works. Things that are 100% opposite work for opposite guys in opposite situations. When a guy asks me “What should I say / do “ he has to give me the SITUATION and even then it’s a bit of a crap shoot.

There is also a geographic influence. And there are bigger cultural differences as well.

We as men want there to be a “CODE” that can be “CRACKED” and PUA lingo and marketing copy plays into this. We want there to be a deep psychological BLUEPRINT (product name) that we can buy and then just follow, like a step-by-step instruction manual. We want the WOMEN 101 INSTRUCTION MANUAL because WE ARE MEN!!! And PUA marketing copy plays right into those fantasies.

But the blueprint doesn’t really exist. The manual doesn’t exist. Game is 99% situational and that means the each man, in each city, in each neighborhood, has to find the best combination, the best approach that works JUST FOR HIM. It’s hugely situational and it’s hugely unique and that’s why this will never be a “scalable” business, but just a bunch of guys comparing notes, n = 1.

So next time you go looking for a money line or consider buying “THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO” whatever, remember this: game is 99% situational.
