I'm talking about Facebook and this may not apply to Instagram because the mechanics there are different Imho. I see a lot of hot girls on fb and quite often they accept my friend request even if my profile isn't even good in terms of pics (I've got nobody that can take good pics of me). So I was wondering if anyone here usually write to these random girls (same city but never met irl) and if it's possible to get something out of it without looking weird or be teased online (I've seen girls that post on fb the conversations of guys that try to approach them from there).
