I'm a bit under that number. I have no problem with LTRs but once you have the ability to go out snd meet new women within an hour.m, your tolerance for BS in relationships significantly lowers. So that may mean your are more willing to dump a woman and also it means being okay with your high sex drive and desire to sleep with different women. I don't have that arrangement but have thought about it a lot.

In today time, with social media and dating apps. It's not that hard to get to 50+ lay. My friends are up at 50+. They all have open relationships and don't believe in marriage.

I grew up in a religious lifestyle and recently living on my own. I am so used to "sex before marriage is bad"

So I have met a lot of women who believe in sex before committing to a relationship is the norm. One woman argue with me, that you have to be sexually compatible before picking someone, based on their personalities.

I've met women who slept with multiple men within the same week, and I was just another number to them while we were on a date, I'm not saying that's wrong. I'm just not used to it.

Do I like it?... No not really my style.

Honestly I'd advocate for a higher body count. The alternative is worse.

With a high count, you know you are desirable so if a girl is giving you bad vibes, you can move on easily.

Secondly, your attention span is spread over multiple people and activities. Guys I know with high counts have their happiness eggs spread over multiple activities so that a girlfriend or lay doesn't shatter their worthiness.

I'm an old-timer but I remember someone doing a study on this in my old pick up lair in my city. Turned out that the people with the highest lay counts also had the most time in monogamous relationships. I'm suspecting the third variable impacting both factors here is age. The older you are the higher your lay count will typically be, and the more relationship experience you'll typically have.

I have 10+ years of relationship experience and my count is around 70. I can tell you that open minded women don't care. A lot of them never ask and don't want to know. And some do care and think it's a deal breaker or a turn-off. As with almost everything, never assume all women are the same.

I do think there's something to be said to your concern about "never being happy" with a monogamous relationship. Once you learn that it's possible to have a deep romantic relationship together with some sexual freedom, it's really hard to give that up. It's like you've tasted chocolate for years and then all of a sudden someone says you can't have it anymore. It's hard. It's a struggle. Typically, when guys get really into this seduction lifestyle they dedicate a lot of time and emotions into it and it can become like a fun hobby to cherish. But as with all things, some people are naturally more monogamous than others. I know several old-time pick up guys who are perfectly happy being monogamous now. And I know others, like myself, who aren't 100% satisfied with that and prefer a more open arrangement. Turns out, not all men are the same either. There's nothing wrong with either approach. People try to build a lifestyle that is somewhat inline with their nature.

If you're worried about it. I don't think you need to worry. Whatever you want to do, do it. People's happiness tend to default back to their natural baseline with time anyways. Regardless of what they choose to do relationship wise. If you're generally happy, you'll be happy with open or monogamy. If you're generally depressed you will probably be depressed with both options. Mood and happiness isn't really influenced that greatly by these kinds of choices as long as you felt like you were in control of your decisions. That you chose your lifestyle

Yeah I’d like to ask those guys too, what’s going to happen once you get old and gray and no one wants you anymore? At that point you’ll hav to buy a woman, even if it’s “indirectly” via providing for a family. I ain’t buying no one.

Guy with a 96 laycount, it depends on the person but for me personally I’m not really monogamous anymore. I’m definitely going to be having one way open relationships. What happened to me is that the more bodies I’ve gotten the less attachment and incentive I have to be in an LTR. For me I kind of having the “wandering eye” so to speak therefore in the likelihood I’m monogamous I’d have to kill off parts of my identity so I won’t cheat.

Not going to lie, the idea of an open/swinger relationship is definitely one that I value as someone who sleeps around a lot. I think it's because sleeping with so many women leads to your standards for settling getting higher and higher each time.

By getting a taste for all the different types of women out there, you get a better understanding of the type of woman that you would actually commit yourself to. The thing is though, that type of woman is usually almost non-existent because you're almost never going to be satisfied to that extent with the women you do get.

So basically, I don't really see myself committing to one person unless that person is a perfect 10 and because finding perfect 10s is basically impossible, I'm much more likely to stick to open/swinging relationships because seducing women is just so damn fun.

Edit: also, life is too short to limit yourself to one person anyway. There's so much (and so many women) to experience in life, I want to try to experience as much as I can before I bite the dust.

I’m around 70. You would think I’m crazy when I say when I was fucking girls left and right I was the most depressed I have ever been. Frat douche life was fun but realized over time that I wasn’t happy. I began to realize that none of these women knew who i was really, because all they saw was the smooth talker I showed. I was very good, and circumstances allowed me to have an endless supply of options. I had done it! I had found success in an area I lacked for most of my life. I always believed that when I had gotten with the most beautiful women on campus that I would be fulfilled. Not at all.

I fucked my friends ex and she told me “I can tell you are putting on a facade. You aren’t really the guy you showcase” first thing that made me question myself. Then an intense but life changing shrooms trip(first time) made me realize none of this is fulfilling for my soul. I stopped going out as often and began to go within. I realized was that the validation and stroking of my ego was not want I wanted. What I truly wanted was a genuine connection and someone who loved me for me, rather than how I looked, or how smooth I was. After all the sex what I truly felt was lonely and unlikeable

In summary, the short term sex was fun, but only left me sad. I don’t have nearly as much sex now because it doesn’t mean anything.

I don’t want a monogamous relationship, ever, based on fundamental principles. Emotional exclusivity is one thing, but physical exclusivity? It simply doesn’t work in the long term.

You can have an open relationship with all the usual girlfriend experiences without signing your balls away, it just takes some relationship building and management skills that are different from pickup skills.

Keep in mind PUAs have an audience they need to perform for. In is in their best interest to remain "in character" for potential customers even if it may not be good for their mental health

I don't value lay counts unless I know what those women look like or if the guy stating the lay count has good reputation. Deliberately trying to keep your lay count low is actually better.

For example, some guys simply get their lay count high enough by going to foreign country and laying any girl with a heartbeat. It's some arbitrary number that doesn't mean much.

I’m 53, I’m great shape, still holding on to some youth. Never married, longest relationship was 4 years. I just kept feeling like I hadn’t met the one, until I realized I didn’t want just one.

Am I a little sad that having my own bio kids, unless I meet someone significantly younger, is out of the question? A little. But do I love the income I don’t have to spend of how Insanely expensive it is to raise a child and get them through college? Nope.

The majority of my friends are divorced or unhappy in their relationship. As least that’s what they say. I know that deep down they do love their partner, but life long ago for them stopped being about living life, and was invaded by raising children until they are almost to old to regain the good times they had pre marriage.

Oh I have my regrets. The one or two I could have maybe had a gray life with. But I am here now. I am surrounded by friends, I have a ton of fun, more than enough sex, and I don’t even drink or partake in all the things I used to do, because that just doesn’t age well.

If you are brave enough to be able to stare you honest truth, that you don’t feel marriage is for you, then you are probably honest enough to then say what you do need. And when you are honest with that, like people seem to appear in your life.

Just hit the big 75 flat. Proud. But 100 was the goal. But after you get this far in the journey, you begin to get paranoid about your health risk associated with the process of random fucks on the internet. Can't trust anybody. And ruining your life is a real possibility with serious diseases and illnesses. Got to leave the game before it's too late sadly. Just the real 100 percent honest truth. Hard to swallow pill. But better to take some money and run than lose it all. So I'm thinking about chilling the fuck out and maybe getting a GF while I know I'm clean and safe. Make sense?
