So got this girls number at the gym on the weekend, texted her the next day, she seems cool, we have a good conversation over text. The conversation continues to Tuesday (the day after initial contact) and I ask if she wants to stop by my work (I'm a cocktail bartender, she works not far away) at 3pm. Doesn't reply and I get knocked off work at 7:30pm and send her another text saying I just finished work, join me for a drink here. She replies an hour after the second text saying she finished work late, she's sorry but she's going home cause she's starving. I say np. The texting continues and by that stage I feel like the mood has changed from her side and stupidly I ask if she wants to get dinner the following night after she finishes work but she says 'not a good idea as I have no idea what time l'll finish.

We both have a crazy work week and today was my only day off, so there will be no possibility for a date until next week. I think I may have come across as a bit desperate so should I text her in a few days with possible plans for next week? Or wait for her to text me.
