You did not text her anything for a week and "waited to see if she would text first".
This is the equivalent of ghosting her. You ghosted her.
She was probably doing the same thing you were doing "seeing if you would text first".
It's best to stop playing this game of "waiting to see if she will text first" as they can backfire. If you like her, just keep texting her at a frequency that's about 50/50 split between you and the girl.
She probably figured you weren't interested anymore and now she has decided to give up on you.

I always played these waiting games before, they always fail cause women know how to wait. They are very very stubborn so don't challenge them with these games.
What I learned to do is to plan for the next date while she is at my home. Not over text. Cause she may play disgusting games like replying after hours or tell you "I will check my schedule"..etc,
