I wouldn’t say you’re ghosted yet, but I’ve had first dates that went great, only for the woman to just disappear. It is extremely puzzling. 4th date, that’s strange for sure. All you can do is wait, don’t contact again.

Yeah agree with this, thanks. Is it worth giving one last shot this weekend to try make plans for next week?

No. The ball was left in her court. Take it from someone who is working on understanding why I am how I am, and one thing I'm trying to do is not put forth an effort that is beyond what I'm getting when it comes to dating. You're only 4 dates in, I'm guessing you're around a month into this. Not enough time invested in my opinion to chase even a little bit.

"She texted me ...Thursday night, checked in with her on Sunday, and no response up to now." So, Friday, Saturday - you text nothing, then mo-th you text nothing. Hmmm, it kind of you ghosted her. She might think now same like you, that you've lost interest.

Well the ball is in her court now, no? I texted her back obviously after the date on thursday, went out of town for the weekend so just waited until i got back on sunday to text her. Granted i haven't followed up with her since then but i don't think i need to.

It is not so obviously. Depends on how often have you massage before, how deep intimate was your last date and her parents bring her up. In worth case, if you texted every day, Thursday was full of touches and parents bring her up as a responsible person, she might feel like you are not serious with her. Anyway, ignoring it not the way anymore. You have to speak what is going on between two of us.

Happened to me after a first date which seemed to go awesome. Talking for three hours, heavy flirting and touching. Then we were making out big time in the park. I was kissing her neck, she was moaning. I saw that look in her eyes that day and especially as we hooked up.
Exchanged a text the next day. Asked her out for a second date a day after. Then she just disappeared. I do know that her work schedule is awful; night shifts and only free Saturday’s and Sunday’s. But still…can’t even just say that over a text instead of ghosting?
Sucks. But trying to use it as motivation. I use to be scared of rejection and thus never asked anyone out. I’ve asked three out in the past couple of months and each eventually ended with rejection after good dates. You bet your ass I got upset and teary and moped in bed for a few hours to a day after. But I won’t show it to them or anyone else that Im bothered.
I guess with girls, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger… and smarter.
Damn that's confusing lol it's just odd to me in cases like mine and what you've had in the past where you have to imagine they feel the chemistry that you do, but who knows... I would much prefer a "this isn't working out" text than just getting ghosted. Just have to use it as an experience where i know i didn't do anything wrong and not take it personally.
Look, we heir on forum don't see the situation. It might be everything - might she lose interest, might be another guy... BUT it might be as well, she think the same as you do in opposite direction, like you ghosted her. Would you be ok to finish relationship like this? Call her and ask direct "what's going on?"

She probably regretted hooking up and that’s what has sparked the uncertainty on her part. People under estimate what hormones are involved and it messes with your psyche.
Even if this was the second date and saw each other twice again after?

You under estimate the emotional aspect of sex for women.

My opinion on ghosting after positive interactions is that generally there is another guy involved and they are ashamed to admit it, but can't say there's no chemistry.
Like, if she got back together with her abusive ex and their toxic dynamic has a hold on her greater than even a very good first couple dates. Or she's been on a couple dates with a guy who has way more money than you and she makes a business decision. I think this makes up most of these kind of surprise ghosting. From a guys point of view it makes little sense, but imagine if you had 5 or 6 people all wanting to buy you shit, show you a good time and give you head......how can you feel good about telling one of them that they're good, just not good enough?

I always assume that there's another guy involved in the early parts of dating lol so you're probably right

Give her a little nudge again. Ask her if she got your earlier message.
