A while ago I read the very insightful remark that just as you can suggest things like "let's go rock climbing" you can equally well suggest "let's go and have sex". You just have to know the right code, which in this case is "let's go for drinks."

(Even though it's more like, let's meet up for potential make out and see how things progress. But that's really as direct as it gets without actually haven't smelled each other.)

What are some other common code-words or generally understood euphemisms you have figured out?
