25M Long story short, I met this attractive girl on vacation, night out at a local bar. We had amazing chemistry, kissed and happened to live near each other back home.

We had our first date the other night a week after we got back from vacation. It was awesome, drinks, talking about everything until the bar closed, good kino everything.

Up to this point she has been super instant in responses in texts, telling me a bunch of stuff about what she likes, all that. After the date, she said everything i did was really sweet and thank you. I asked her when I could see her again, she said next week when I get back from my trip. We texted here and there throughout the day.

Well overnight she sends me the "youre awesome, i loved everything about the date, but there just wasnt a romantic spark" Bro...

I genuinely thought this would be one of the first relationships where I would love a woman, that's how much I enjoyed getting to know her. I couldn't stop thinking about her. This may sound cringe but i legit just cried for like 30 minutes. A 25-year-old man.

Im at a loss of words. I didn't follow Mark's rule, "if a woman is receptive, escalate as fast as possible," and I waited; I used the entire 5 hour date to just talk. I should've taken her somewhere to make out or something. FUCK

anyone else go through something similar? I know im being kinda a bitch about this, but man i rarely if ever feel so deeply for a girl. Im usually neutral to somewhat attracted to a girl. But I liked this one, REALLY liked her, I felt so damn compatible with her.

god damnit, this one hurts. really bad.
