I'm 26 and I've always been more of an introverted guy. Recently I came to the conclusion that apps are a racket and I'm trying my luck with game in real life. For my whole life I've kinda been a semi-loner and this combined with the pandemic means my social skills need work. Since they're a bit rusty and my confidence in talking to women irl is lacking, at the point I'm at now I'm still not entirely comfortable doing approaches. I've gotten the idea that I should do things to slowly improve my confidence in talking to women and approaching.

So far I've done small things like occasionally going to a local bar just to get comfortable in that environment, and also there's this kinda cute cashier at my local store that I've begun to make small talk with if I see her there. I'm not even expecting to get a date or even a number out of that interaction, I'm merely trying to get more practice with chatting girls up in any capacity. In any case, I'm sure there's more things I can do so that I'll eventually be able to approach women for real. These two things are just a start, I know for certain I have to put more work in. Does anyone have any suggestions? Have any of you gotten rid of your aversion to interacting with women irl by gradually exposing yourself to it?
