There is some basis to what the last poster said about being good-looking. It might only work for those guys. But it's worth a shot, imo. You might as well try your luck because you've got nothing to lose. Try to obviously have good pictures.

Honestly though, also depends on the girl in question. I DMed a girl once from NY (I'm not from NY, but I was there while this happened) and started chatting her up about her insta story and we ended up meeting later that night. Nothing went down but I did have a good time.

You've got to be interesting immediately. I find I'm more sensitive to my surroundings and spontaneous IRL so I have more success that way. To get real advice though you need to post a pic of her.
