Yeah I got pissed at some PC advice on dating for men, which would only work if women were assertive and forward as well. Didn't mean to take that out on you. I apologize if I came off that way

Generally, texting should be mainly for setting up dates. is he the player type or does he not have much success with women?

If it's the former, you may have to be more forward abt meeting him (and maybe even slightly sexually flirty) because he's gonna go for the girl who's more of a sure thing. We'd see it as less likely that a girl would flake on a date if she seems more keen on it.

If it's the latter (more likely, considering his responses), you'd have to take the more assertive role (which may decrease your own attraction to him) and help him make plans for the two of you. Basically, give him some reason to believe he has a good chance with you maybe try responding to his stories?

If there's no response to a "how are you?", I like to use something like "that good huh? ;P" That should re engage the conversation at least

But don't take the texting to small talk crap like "how are you?" Some of us men find that fairly boring and unimaginative as well, and if we like you, our brains go blank and we don't know how to divert the conversation to setting up a date... So we end up not saying anything at all. Or we actually are busy or not really interested

directly refer to him mentioning the going out part. Say stuff like "so what kinda venue do you picture us going out to?" OR if you want to be playful, "so what's the ambiance like at this abt this future hypothetical hanging out scenario? what are we drinking/doing?" I personally prefer drinks or coffee for first dates Then, say "I'd love that, I'm free on blah blah at blah blah" OR to be playful, "I'd hypothetically love that, and would look forward to meeting a hot guy on blah blah at blah blah" hopefully he's not as clueless as I was 7 years back and actually does get some courage to take some initiative

Then, confirm the "hypothetical" date the day before or a few hours before, show up on the "hypothetical" date and get that "hypothetical" D ;)

Don't worry its okay I totally understand you! I have seen many times there are a lot of expectations ppl hold as I can say of women in general I have seen girls trying to be the one to avoid the "bold moves" and expect the guys to do that which does not make sense but I don't blame them either society is shit lmao.

He Is neither like of what I have seen of him from his social media and the little chat we had he is a very cool dude who has his priorities set. Whenever it came to dating I remember him mentioning his past relationships and he just said "they weren't worth my time" I would think he knows his worth and has his future planned up! Which makes me both highly attracted to him and at the same time intimidated as I am very insecure about my worth(past shit I am trying to get over~~)

And ayo believe me when it comes to chatting and replying to his stories I did that LMAO one of his stories mentioned a weird ass post "do you dip yourself in wendy's frosting" I replied to that "well I do that to Mcflurry but I can try wendy's, so when are we going there?"... and that was it LMAO k got no reply T_T. I really don't expect any place that screams "I'll take everything that's in your pocket for one coffee" like if a guy just wants a McDonald's or pizza or even just cheetos date that's fine with me LOL actually preferred :P

I would very much like to think he finds me attractive if that's what guys mean by "cute" LMAO but then even if he dosen't wanna date I won't mind just texting his as mere friends. Sometimes people underestimate how much talking to someone even on a call can reveal about that person, and that is why I always want to take stuff slow i would only meet a person irl if they come out as a nice person online or on call and while it's not always right, it will atleast make me a little comfy around them assuming we have alredy chatted hahaha.

Like I'd just say It sometimes pisses me off too how ppl are assumed to do some perticular stuff cause "that's how it's always been" and I try my best to not follow shit that makes no sense everyone has the same responsibility when it comes to anywhere near dating and tbh in any relationship at all!!
