Help, going on first date

Congratulations on landing your first date! If you are nervous and anxious I have some tips for you. First of all don't think of the date as a huge event in your life. There will be many others and this is just one. Believe me. Don't start imagining your life together when you look at her or get too infatuated with her etc. Just say to yourself that all you have to do is show up. Have one drink and if you want you can bail out any time. Now with that sort of mindset you are going just to have some fun and possibly get to know someone who is interesting. Think that you will never see this girl again and so you can just relax. Remember to listen to what she is saying and try and ask interesting questions, for example about her oldest memory, what she is passionate about etc.

Think of this as another experience that you can come back and reflect upon. Please give an update after the date on friday.

It is perfectly fine that you haven't spoken much on tinder. Probably better.

You can't learn everything you need to know in a few days. I recommend learning to relax and just have fun. That is all you can do.

I was nervous as hell on my first dates and it turned pretty awkward. The only solution I found was going on more dates. It's all familiarization. You are not used to going on dates so its freaks you out. When you have had multiple dates you will be way more relaxed and the dates will go better.

Talk about each others childhood. Play with her hands. Compare her hands size to your hands. Compare legs. Make it funny. Pull her towards you. Play the who blinks first game.

Even if she is cold or in a bad mood, you have to think it's awesome to be here at this place. You actually archived getting a date. Enjoy the moment with or without her.
