Hi, I've recently come to the conclusion that not giving a damn is the solution to all your problems. The more I don't give a damn and the more I don't want someone, the more they are into me.

For example, I went to my local nightclub, just to dance. I had broken up with my ex for about 24h and I didn't want to be bothered by women. I love dancing and needed to blow some steam not to think about the breakup. I was distant and just having a good time. Everybody, male and female, approached me that night! I ended up being the center of so many groups to the point it got overwhelming for an introvert like myself. I didn't know at first what happened so I tried again... Same mood, same vibe. Same experience.

Anyway, I'm flying too far from my question. I'm short. I'm a Hobbit or women made me think that. (1.65m) It has always been one of my insecurities and it got worse. I've had some long experiences on dating apps when I moved from countries to countries. Easiest way for me to reach quickly the locals. But many times, on a first date/meeting, I could see in their eyes: "damn, he is a fucking Hobbit, how do I get out of here!" Even before to get to know me or after talking for hours and enjoying my personality. I was thrown into the pit, right from the start. It got personal and I would usually react badly to it. To the point I usually asked right before to go on the date if it was a problem with them... Wrongggg! I was showing my insecurity to them!

Instead, what would you do? what would you say to show you don't really care being shorter than the girl? (Which I clearly don't: my first girlfriend was 1.75 and wearing 10-15cm high heels. I was proud of that 😂) Any openers or lines to throw when you see they react to you being short? I don't want this to stay an insecurity. Especially not if other people made it an insecurity. Advices?
