I'm sort of lost. I'm a long time lurker, but i have never put it to the test in real life. I'm currently in Nice, France, visiting some family(i'm not american), so i figured this would be a good time to start. I'm 22m, and don't have any experience with game and cold approaches. I was out on the promenade at the beach tonight, and while not with the explicit purpose of doing cold approaches, i kinda wanted to, but struggled to actually do it. I saw one girl who i wanted to talk to, but another guy approached her first. Fair game to him, and he seemed to be pretty succesful with it. She was very receptive, and while i didn't hear the conversation, she gave him a hug at the end. Now the thing is, this guy wasn't particularly good looking(not knocking him, neither am i) so it sorta gave me some internal courage to not be insecure. I wanted to approach the same girl, but i chickened out. I had some opportunities to approach her, but i just couldn't find the courage. I don't know what to say? I'm feeling a bit shitty about it, but who cares, there's a day tomorrow. Literally, since i plan on going again, with the explicit purpose of doing cold approaches. Now the thing is, i just wanna get started. While it's of course the dream, it's not because i desperately want to get laid. I just wanna do it for the sake of it. So please, help a newbie out. How do i do it? What do i say? What do i wear? Any tips for my first time?
