If confronted just share a genuine apology. What’s done is done. If this post is really how you feel about the situation, you’re able to express it, and he’s a rational person, worse thing thats gonna happen is the awkwardness between you two.

Dude, the worst case scenario part awakened me thanks a lot. Ive been thinking about the worst things like I might get beaten up and shit. But yeah in reality its not gonna happen. Thank you. So last question. Do I just go apologize immediately or just not bring it up and befriend him as if it never happened?

Welcome, always glad to help. If it’s an obvious white elephant or it comes up in conversation I’d just apologize. If it seems like he’s gotten over it I just wouldn’t bring it up.
