High school dating isn't unless. Plenty of relationships in high school turn into a marriage. High school is where a decent number of people meet their spouse. High school relationships give you experience for when you get older and help you understand what you do and don't want in future relationships. Dating doesn't get any easier in universities or outside of them you just get exposed to a bigger dating pool.

High school dating is only rationalized as "useless" by those who typically couldnt get dates or that girls didnt pay attention to (no offense, but that's how it was when I was in school). The outcast kid always tried to convince everyone he was 'above' having a gf...after he had asked out and been turned down by every girl in school?! If you arent successful now, it isnt magically going to happen because you go to college...put in that work! Work on you, your body, your approach and social skills. Be READY for the opportunities that you create

In hindsight high school dating wasn’t hard at all, it was just my young dumb brain that made it hard for myself. I had so many chances I didn’t bother taking because I was hung up on my crush at the time.

It was also me expecting it to just fall in my lap one day, but that’s not how the world works. If you want to date you have to put in the work.
