I’m starting from zero in a new city as an experiment. I dress ok (jeans and nice t shirt lol), have the ability to open in daygame, and can hold a conversation. That’s enough for been enough for good day game.

You can use clever lines, magic tricks, and outrageous clothes to fake being higher value and that might work on the drunken girl at the bar temporarily but you can't fake your SMV, you are what you are.

Most guys start off with no preselection. That's something to build in the long term and it's usually unintentionally built doing stuff you were already doing.

Also dread game is for later when you're managing women you're already messing with.

Youre completely out of order, overthinking stuff that isnt relevant yet as you're just trying to build up your SMV.

As to how to build up your SMV go learn new skills, talk with girls and experiment. You dont have any options so go get some candidates.
