I may sound little bit desperate to an extent, so my apologies in advance.

I’m 26, virgin, almost no social circle, last date was about 2 years ago and even that I got with the help of my brother (and it was disaster..).

I never really cared about dating and had the mentality of “it’ll come when the time is right”.

About 3 years ago I met a girl in college and we were studying a lot together. Long story short I invited her out and shit the bed. On the third date she rejected me.

It was some kind of pain I never felt before. But I guess thats the price I have to pay for being inexperienced.

I do have a reason to be thankful for. This terrible experience gave me the wake up call I needed. Reminded me that nothing will happen if I won’t take action.

I’ve figured that before outer game, inner game must come first: 1) I’m slightly overweight, so I signed to the gym and going every damn day, punishing my body. My ignored OkCupid messages give me one hell of motivation. 2) I’ve read a book called “The Game” by Neil Strauss. I literally hit my head on the desk - how the FUCK I did so many things wrong?! 3) I came across 2 books as I need to reprogram myself completely and books are one of the ways to do it: “Mystery Method” from The Game and another PUA book “The Natural” by Richard La Ruina. Not sure which one should I stick with, any suggestions? 4) I went with a “calling-once-a-year-friend” to a club for his birthday. Surprisingly, I know how to dance. Unfortunately, I couldn’t approach any girl. My approach anxiety is something I got to work on.

And here I got stuck. I don’t have a social circle, barely friend here and there so no wingman to help me out.

What should I do next?
