This indicates a problem. How do you not know? It should be a simple task to gauge the responses of the girls you are speaking to. If they think you are a player they would have no qualm in telling you that one way or another. If they think you are a creep they will freeze you out and become awkwardly silent during your presence. If they aren't showing any interest or disinterest at all then you are probably not making your intentions clear enough.

I'm not looking for a serious relationship right now just trying to have fun and be casual
I'm assuming that by 'fun' you mean sex and that by 'casual' you mean no strings attached. That's all well and fine, but you have to tune your strategy accordingly.
Truthfully if you are looking for something like a one night stand you are going to have to put yourself in party, club or bar situation. People's inhibitions are lowered and its where most people will pick up their one night stands.
If you are looking for a friends with benefits you are going to need to perform a lot of the basic relationship maintenance that a typical bf/gf situation requires. This means more sober interaction, frequent conversation in person and on social media. FWB's aren't something I advise aiming for anyone who is still learning seduction. FWB's typically devolve into quasi relationships anyway; not saying it's a bad thing, just forewarning you.

IDK, maybe you're socially awkward, give off a bad vibe, express too much interest, don't express enough interest? Just saying, your looks aren't gonna be your limiting factor. Just be friendly at parties, socialize with guys and women equally, flirt a little, but keep moving. Hooking up really isn't as impossible as people make it seem - if a girl is interested, she'll let you know, but it'll probably be subtle. The trick is to pick up on those signs.
