I've been dating this girl for about a few weeks now and things have been going well up until our last date. It seemed like it was going very well and we even kissed at the end. It wasn't until a few days later that I found out that I had said some things that made her uncomfortable. She brought it up after being a bit distant, when I texted her, and I apologized and clarified to her that I was only joking around.

It was definitely immature (don't know why I even behaved that way) on my part and luckily I was able to fix it. She accepted my apology and agreed to see me towards the end of the week. But now, I notice she's a bit more distant with me and doesn't contact me as much as before. My gut tells me I'm on thin ice and feel like if I don't play my cards right while I'm not with her or on our date, she'll flake.

What should I do to hold and keep her interest? Should I give her a bit of space? Text her sporadically throughout the week? On the date, I feel I can redeem myself through conversation and have some fun with her. It's the time until then that worries me.
