I have been single for quite some time after a horrible break up. There are a few people who sparked my interest over the past year and I talked myself out of pursuing them. Recently I met a man who I am really interested in.

I feel that he is attracted to me but the connection is not moving forward.

This man is 12 years young than me and I am concerned that he has a problem with this but I am too afraid to ask.

Having been out of the game for over a decade I feel I have lost all flirting skills. I have tried being bold about the situation and it was a total crash and burn.

Now I am worried that I appear desperate in his eyes - i am not desperate just really like him
