I finally decided to step out of my boundary today and sparked up a conversation with this really beautiful Colombian girl in the park with my friends besides me. It was my first actual approach because using pick up lines online is definitely different from online dating apps. I had 5 minutes with her before her gay friend decided to show up and sit next to her. I did feel awkward for a second because I thought it was her boyfriend for a second, but she introduced me and then we talked for like another minute before she turned her attention to her friend sitting left of her. I was a little pissed that I didn’t ask for her social sooner or because she diverted her attention to her friend , but she at least said “it was nice meeting you” before they left 10 mins later. I understood though because I wouldn’t leave my good friend hanging the whole time. I feel like managing pick up game IRL, online, and making time for my bros, and focusing on my passions are difficult because I get socially drained easily. I don’t even want to message any of the girls I matched with right now and I’m too lazy to put an effort in to smooth talk. I’ve been trying my best to come out of my shell this week, but it’s hard to be consistent because I’m an introvert and I become socially drained. I was even a bit boring and dry with my close bros today because I’m so socially exhausted, but definitely want to still work on becoming more outgoing and easy-talking. Is it weird that I also get more socially drained with people I know well? I’m deep down an adventurous person so I like novelty, meeting people with different, interesting qualities or experiences. It’s a bad habit. So how do y’all introverts manage to spit game consistently? Not everyday, but like at least like 2-3 times a week naturally without getting exhausted.
