Had a second date tonight. We went to a few different places, and ended in a cocktail bar. We laughed, and had a good time. I kinoed in the bar, and she was receptive to my having my arm on her back or leg.

But I could tell she wasn't ready for a kiss at any point. Things just sort of fell flat. Apart from my kino, the evening felt platonic.

This isn't the only time I've had this happen. I think I've got trouble establishing a sexual frame. Part of it is me blocking myself - I don't have that much experience, so I'm less comfortable talking about it.

But partly, I'm just not sure how to bring it up. On dates where the topic of sex has come up, they've gone much better.

How do you guys make conversations sexual? Innuendo has sometimes worked for me, but sometimes the girl doesn't bite.
