I overheard two mature (30-40) ladies speaking at the hair salon, that they find it unattractive when a guy acts too happy. When I speak to women, usually I’m friendly and lighthearted, but feel discouraged now using emojis like I’m being too nice? But when I don’t and act still friendly but seems kind of cold because I’m saying it frankly, I don’t get responses, I get ignored. So I’m not sure what to do. If I do it my way, I feel like I’m doing it wrong (and being judged) but at least it makes conversation, but if I do it the other way I don’t get anywhere.

Not that I’m really getting laid anyway but idk what to do.
