It's pretty late over here, and I apologize for any typos you might fine, using my phone. I just wanted to share my little tool for initiating Kino fairly early into the interaction, and again further down the line at anytime. It works pretty well for me, and the friends I've showed it to have been using it with pretty good success, in both day and night game. Basically, what I do is after I've initially asked for her name, I make a motion with my hand for them to move closer, and at the same time say "one more time" as if I didn't quite hear them. I make sure that they lean in, not me, and as they move closer to repeat their name, I place my hand on their arm, shoulder, or upper back. The move is pretty easy, it usually goes unnoticed, and it doubles as a compliance test if you simply let it linger as you move the conversation forward. Works whether seated or standing, and can be used continuously throughout the interaction as you climb up Kino ladder. Nothing easier for me than saying "repeat that for me sweetheart" and then dropping my hand on her upper thigh (if seated) or lower back (if standing) as she leans in. Just thought it was a good share.
