So I'm pretty consistently able to do cold approaches at bars and clubs, have flirty conversations, and number-close (self-esteem +9001, seriously). But they almost never respond, and I'm trying to troubleshoot this.

I know the Attraction-Comfort-Seduction model is a little out of style, but I think it's a good approximation of reality in many cases.

I am going to start following /u/cheddarchexmix's advice here: http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/ecmm8/how_i_go_from_number_to_first_date/, which gives advice on what to do after the number-close.

But I'd be curious to hear more opinions on how long to spend in attraction and comfort at a bar or club before number-closing. Should I just number-close in the middle of the conversation? I hear this recommended a lot, but I'm having difficulty integrating it properly.

I'd say I'm currently doing like... 10 minutes of attraction, then 10 minutes of comfort, then number-closing.

Is that just way too little time, or is it likely some other aspect of my game?
