Ultimately, however long you want to. Did the date go well? I suppose the general "rule" is to wait 1-2 days before setting up another date (which can be next week or whatever, doesn't really matter, you're a busy man doing interesting things and meeting other women ;p).

If I can assume you guys are semi-regularly texting back and forth, set it up a day or two. If the waters isn't as warm, dont' shoot for a commit, steer the conversation/texts into things YOU are doing and basically if she says "oh thats cool/interesting" throw her a pebble and be like, "you should tag/come along...etc".
