There is this summer soccer league happening. I’m 21 and I have helped referee some of the games. There is this girl who is my age who is on one of the teams (I never refereed her games) and I think she is cute. I talked to her once for a minute about a game of hers that was cancelled before but haven’t made any other communication with her.

What is the best way to approach her without coming off as awkward given the circumstances? Ideally I want to get her number, I’m not afraid to ask just am thinking about making a good initial impression.
