You're thinking too much. Stop thinking.

Smile more as this will also lead to you being in a happier mood and saying nicer things. Go in with the goal of making the people you are talking to smile. Interact with people more, and analyze each situation after you have it. Write about it in a journal and think of ways that you could have done better. You obviously have the intention of becoming nicer so the more you practice and work at it the nicer you will become and the more natural and confident you will be.

Give us some examples. How do you say things to them? I always say extremely cold/cruel things... BUT they always know I'm joking around, if they aren't laughing your doing it wrong

i'm pretty similar..i have to catch myself alot...but sometimes i can't help myself...also comes off as , a know it all, and thats annoying...but i feel ya... i used to be alot worse...
