Most people don't realize that our mating pattern, the people we choose to enter relationships with are based not mainly on physical attraction but our emotional and mental states, mainly our dominant emotions and limiting beliefs from our past.

For example, girls who have feelings of low self worth will often continually attract guys who treat them with little worth. People who grew up with over controlling parents (feeling powerless) will often attract relationship situations where their partner makes them feel powerless (over bearing, always making all the decisions, etc ...)

If you feel stuck or feel like you're always attracting the same partners or not making any progress in the dating arena take a look at your past relationships, what dominant emotion/feeling they bring up (anger, frustration, powerlessness, lack of self worth, etc ...) and see if that emotion comes up over and over again, especially if you an trace it back to childhood.

If you've found a repeating pattern odds are it's impacting the people you are attracting to you and in order to change that pattern you need to clear that feeling or emotion.
