what do you mean assuming, you were there weren't you? if it went well, then figure out if you want to see her again. If yes, then send her a text whenever you want. people always say, wait 36 hours before you text her, or look at the moon and if its a full moon then write your message in haiku form. ignore all that crap. if the girl had a good time, she wont care when you text her. you cannot trick someone into wanting a second date. don't be needy though. i find it that initially, set up a date every weekend. that way you are not changing your life too much and you are not causing her to change hers either. good luck.

Well if the date is successful, she will still be interested. All you really have to do is ask her out on a second one and if she says yes then keep doing what you are doing.
