How to make this guide work for you:

You must be willing to admit that what you're doing now isn't working. Don't try to the things mentioned in this post and say "tHeSe DoN't Work" after only trying them once. Experiment and find out what works for you.

you're not going to have interesting conversations with everyone

Conversations are usually interesting when about things you have someone in common, shared beliefs, or just something you find fascinating. you won't always have something in common with someone or think the same things are interesting. I believe the guys with the mindset of "what I say to make her interested" are starting off the wrong mindset. It takes two people to have an interesting conversation. You should be looking for girls with shared interests because they'll be the ones most interested to talk to you and will make texting easy. If there are no shared interests there's no reason to keep trying. Don't waste time texting a girl that is a brick wall that gives one world replies or does not reply at all.

"GiRlS DoN't WaNt To TaLk AbOuT tHaT sTufF"

I was on the phone with a close friend of mine trying to make him realize that he is an interesting guy. I pointed out his vast knowledge of conspiracy theories, cryptocurrency, and medical science and he replied with "girls they don't want to talk about that stuff." my argument, was "how do you know?" Don't limit yourself to what you can say to a girl. Plenty of girls like sports, video games, and anime.

side note: There are some controversial topics, like politics and religion that should be avoided in the earlier stages of a relationship, but they can be talked about at a later stage when there is more comfort.

No topic should be off the table, you never know what you both will have an interest in and have in common.

What do you want to know about her:

Too many guys aimlessly ask questions just hoping something will form into a conversation. What do you seriously want to know about her? What is your goal in the conversation? What do you look for in a girl?

exercise: write down the qualities you look for in women. (ex. friendly, family-oriented, adventurous, smart, laid back)

think about the questions you would need to ask to find out these types of things. if want to know if she's adventurous ask "what is something wild you've done on vacation?" or "have you ever been rock climbing?"

Always give something to reply to

Don't send dry texts like yes, no, or okay. Add value to the conversation. Always give her something she can reply or add too.

Avoiding boring questions

"Tell me about yourself"

this is a tough question that puts girls on the spot. don't say tell me about yourself ask the questions to find out things about her. Ask about her favorite food, movies, or type of music.

"wyd"

thing how these conversations usually go "hey wyd" "nothing wyd" "nothing" the conversation is dead after that

if you make a habit of starting boring conversations then she'll stop replying to your texts.

make assumptions:

Don't ask "what do you like to do for fun?" Make assumptions from your observations. "by the way to text you must be a good writer" either she'll say "yes, love to write short stories and poetry" or "no, I don't like writing, I not very good as at" even from that response you can continue to ask questions and form a conversation.

"To be interesting, be interested"

This is one of my favorite quotes that I've seen in this subreddit. My interpretation is to have interests. Read books, watch documentations, and explore the world around you. Always be interested in learning new things. when you're constantly reading and learning then you have more to talk about and more things you want to share. with this, you can develop the ability to talk about a bigger variety of topics.

meme, videos, and music

Memes and videos are great because you can find things you both relate to and humor is a great way to connect with someone. You can share things you think are cool and form conversations about them. You should use any tool at your disposal that can help you find out things that you have in common. Similar interests and opinions are essential in long-lasting relationships.

Enjoy texting

the biggest shift that helped me with texting was making the conversations enjoyable for myself. I started taking pressure off myself and thinking "what can I text to keep her interested or spark her interest." Let the conversation flow and realize not she's not going to be in the mood to text. Send risky texts and tell bad jokes. Show a little personality in your texts.

Conclusion

You're not going to be compatible with every girl you talk to. Some girls will be dry/boring and that's not your fault. Don't try to impress her and be persistent fishing for topics. Some girls are genuinely boring or have no conservation/social skills. Don't force a connection.

Bonus:

Don't let girls form a perception about you from texting.

I've always had strong texting skills, but it took a minute for my in-person skill/social skills to catch up. Stay congruent/stay true to who you are. Be willing to ask the same question, make jokes, and flirt the same way you would in person.

A big problem I see with guys is this sub is that they waste too much time texting. Texting girls for weeks and months isn't helping. Your goal with texting should be building enough interest with her to get her on a date with you as soon as possible. I learned from experience that texting for weeks and/or months before a date leads to either being friendzoned or ghosted. Don't let girls know everything about over text because they form their own ideas about you before they get to meet you. when their idea of you doesn't match when you go on a date then girls will quickly figure that out and reject you.

Use texting as a tool to build interest in the beginning and to get her out on a date with you. Use texting as a way to keep you on her mind over time.

practice. practice. practice.

There is no instant way to get better at texting. You have to put in the work. I like to compare game to lifting weights. you can't walk into the gym and start lifting 50lb dumbells you have to work your way up to that. You won't learn what are good opening texts until you get ignored trying 10 others. You won't learn what to say and what not to say until getting into those situations. You won't get better by just only reading guides and watching videos. Read over your old text and where girls started to lose interest. Notice patterns in your texting that don't work or are hard to reply to. You have to actually try things out and see what works for you. Enjoy the process and the journey. Don't rush your way to end goal. Every step of the process is important to learn for you to master the skill.
