Well for starters, don't frame this as you "trying to get in a relationship with her", from what I'm reading here you're infatuated but you don't know her that well. So instead your goal should be to get to know her on a more personal level and see if affinity grows.

You said she invited you to do something so that's already a great headstart even if it didn't pan out. You could ask her to join you to some activity, maybe something you'd know you both enjoy and when you're there with her, talk and ask her things to get to know her (be genuine with your questions, you don't want to sound like a job interview) and if you still like her, set up a second date and go from there.
