Don't get caught up in alot of technical detials. Don't make the mistake to think you need to learn a bunch of theory, watch pickup videos, etc...

First thing, go out and approach. Just get reference experiences. You can fill in the rest as you go.

Next, learn some basic fundamentals of good game. Make the conversation man to woman, get your eye contact and voice under control, self amuse, calibrate (don't over do fun, but don't be too logical either), don't take anything seriously, always have a positive vibe, etc...

If it helps, start with something simple. If its daygame, just ask for directions. If you feel you can bypass that, then compliment the girl, tell her she looks nice today, is hot or whatever, then say 'have a nice day' and walk off.

If it's night game, just say "Hi im (your name)". Ask them what are they celebrating. Or something else canned.
