Personally speaking, humility is liberation...

I come across as pretty confident and charming to most people, so some people assume me to be cocky. The truth is that I’m actually very humble. Confused?

I always keep an open mind and I’m always receptive to feedback from anyone; I rarely take offense to anything people say (this is humility). As such, I have no reservations in the way I act/talk when I interact with people (which comes across as confident) because I don’t fear negative feedback from people. As a matter of fact, I always appreciate feedback, whether good or bad, from anyone because it always makes for cool and interesting discussions; brainstorming and chatter that makes for improvement.

Hence...humility is liberation, it allows me to interact with everyone with no reservations. When you have no reservations in how you interact with people, you break down your barriers and your apprehensions.

Do things that scare you.

Each time you take the step and stand up to yourself it will become a little easier. The best thing is it has little to do with seduction and will benefit you in everything you do.

Scared of heights: rock climbing. People: chat with the cashier or that old guy at the subway.

You get my drift.

I've had a pretty shitty day. Since last week I wanted to talk to this girl I really liked at class. That week passed today and it went horribly. I only smiled at her and say "hi". In my mind it's like the biggest letdown because I was really looking forward to talk to her today and figure out what she was all about.

Sorry for the rant but you are right OP. Do the things you're supposed to do when you're supposed to do it. If you don't you just end up shame regretting every moment that you could have done something. I really really hate this feeling right now. It's a sad and unforgiving void.
