Hi,

first of all i like to thank this subreddit, it's fun to read and i always learn some new stuff.

Now here's my problem. My ratio from >getting a phone number to 1st date< is pretty bad.

When i get a girls number, i call her ~3 days later, most times she won't answer the phone. I try it again ~1 week later, same result. Last attempt ~1 / 2 weeks later. Nothing happens and it's game over.

My experience is showing me that girl don't like to talk on phones (anymore). So the solution is texting i guess.

Sometimes i get a conversation going over text but i always have the feeling there is no connection, i can't feel her mood, if it's the right timing to ask for a date or not and it seems i never find the right topic to get the conversation going. And eventually it dies.

Finally my questions: How do i keep text conversations alive? How to revive them? When to ask for a date?

Any advise is highly appreciated.
