Okay, this is pissing me off.
There's this girl I work with, right? We'll call her V. We're in an extra-curricular-after-school thing together. She's gorgeous. I swear, there's a twinkle in her eyes. A fucking twinkle, guys. She's friends with this other girl in the same program. We'll call her C. A few weeks ago, C tells me her friend V thinks I'm cute. And I'm like, ho-LEE-shit. So, for weeks I prepared to talk to her (the program we're apart of hadn't started yet). And when we finally do start, I say hello, introduce myself, yada yada yada. And I want to engage in more conversation with V... only problem is her friend C will not leave her fucking side.
I swear, she's like V's shadow. They walk everywhere together, eat together, talk together, leave together...Today, I decided, "fuck it, I'm going in anyway." And I did. I asked her, V, a question, but it was more like I asked both of them, cause, ya know, they never separate, and C fucking answers for both of them. So I keep asking questions...trying to keep it flowing...but C keeps answering for V! And V can't get a word in! At this point, I'm getting worried that V is gonna lose interest. We're in high school, and you know how high school girls are...they're fickle. They always want something else after a while.
What in the unholy shit am I supposed to do here? I know I could start something great if I could just engage with V myself! DO you know how hard I've worked in getting past my social anxieties? Too damn hard to let C fuck this up.
