Hey everyone! Been reading up on seddit for a while, but never posted anything. I’m seeing major improvements but I still have a ways to go I think.

So I’m at a small Uni and over the past week this HB9 and I have been getting along nicely. We’ve seen each other in passing and knew each other from mutual friends, but we never really got to know each other. Anyway, last week it seemed like there was some definite attraction. Moving up the Kino ladder and all. I would have asked her out last weekend but I had plans a while back to visit friends out of state the whole weekend.

So today, I finally got the nerve to ask her out and ... rejection. She did not give me a “no” per se but she dodged the question hard. No regrets whatsoever in asking although I am a bit sad. However, I’m proud of myself for going out and fucking doing it and it feels so good to know that I wont have to wonder if there was anything there.

I will definitely see her again since she is my year at a very small uni and I’ll see her once a week in class I don’t think it will be awkward seeing her in the future, but is that something I should worry about?

Fuck it if it is...more importantly, is there any advice you guys can give me about getting over the rejection, since this is the first time I went for broke and straight up asked? How long did it take you guys to get over the first few rejections when you seddited? What’s the best way to motivate myself to start again with a new lady and to get rid of the last bits of oneitis? Positive vibes only please!

Tl;dr: Asked girl out, she dodged the question without giving me a no. Fucking proud of myself for asking, but still sad because I was crushing for longer than I should have.

You guys are awesome!
