I was wondering what seddit has to say about this line. Allow me to lay some context.

Met a girl at a bar last night, spent the entire night together dancing and making out, and chatting out on the patio. All was going pretty well until she put up some LMR to coming home with me. Not the point, however.

I talked to her today, and despite the fact that she had been receptive to the idea of hanging out again after that night, when I brought this up by saying "so how about early next week you and I get together?" she responded with: "probably not...I don't know you"

Now, I was wondering what seddit thinks of this. I couldn't help but be a bit confused in that she spent her entire evening dancing and being quite sexual with me, and then resisted meeting up after...because she "didn't know me".

Now, am I missing something crucial here? Or is this just a bizarre case? Is this a thing women do? I was utterly mystified by it. Especially because she was quite into me the night before.
