this. she wouldnt of texted you if completely uninterested. text banter can only really hurt you at this point if youre boring/clingy

hmmm...that is the tough spot with texting. i know i'm always really an over thinker these text situations. i think it's always safe to ask a question. i'm in a situation where i went on a date with a girl last week, and our next one is planned for thursday. a pretty big gap. i'm not sure if should meantime text or not. her answers are also pretty short. definitely a question, so she's kind of forced to answer it.

For your situation, I'd only text one or two things (if any) between now and the date. They should both be callback humor, where you make a little inside joke about something you talked about, or whatever little joke that's relevant to the situation. Then let her respond (or not, doesn't matter), and if she says something that requires a reply, reply back a bit later. If not, just let it be. Ideally though, I'd text maybe once just to make a joke or tell a funny story that just happened to me.

Just set up a date then drop the texting. See the sidebar; constant texting isn't going to increase anything.
