Secondly, the reason you got downvoted is because the advice wasn't very good. One of the traps we fall into on this sub is we get sooooo wrapped up in inner game and confidence, and don't get me wrong, I completely agree that those are the base of any success you'll have in this area, but we forget that what a real noob wants is a "hack" of sorts.

Confidence is critical, yes. But, having trained a number of people in a variety of fields, I can tell you that confidence comes from a student knowing how to do something. You have to give them the tools to set themselves up to win. In this case, the noob needs a list of icebreakers that they can play around with to force themselves into social interactions. Eventually, yes, they will realize that canned openers are far less effective than genuine interaction, but a noob isn't ready for that kind of game yet.

You're asking them to play chess when all they really want is to play Sorry at the moment.

On the other hand, I would completely agree that this sub is recently being dominated by people who ask about specific situations which do not seem to fit the mission statement.

I hope you don't take this offensively, that was not my intention. I just thought I'd explain why folks might have not appreciated your input.

You have to be able to back up what you say with at least an sensible anecdotal argument. Too many people in this sub expect people or newbies to believe them just because they're internet alpha's and say they're right because they go out more, or get laid more. There is no reason for anyone for anyone to believe you're not full of shit unless you can back up what you're saying with sense. No one is going to believe anything without challenging it first, and if you're attitude to being challenged is "you haven't even field tested it yourself/you don't even go out noob..." then this entire community might as well either pack up and die, or become an internet club for Seduction guru's and those of all other levels need not apply. (which is actually what I've noticed is happening over the past 6 years that I discovered this stuff)

I have absolutely no problem with this, but what worries me is all the people who are upvoting their criticisms

People upvote their criticisms because there are a lot of noobs, and a lot of noobs agree that the other party isn't making sense or insisting they're world view is correct simply because they claim it is.

They know nothing about getting over AA / learning Kino / and being Authentic/Core Confidence/Being In State (using RSD speak)

Because no one actually explains it. They regurgitate the same unrealistic PUA marketting stuff.

As someone who left the community a while ago for several reasons, I feel more people here to understand that for a noob, nothing you are saying makes sense. You might as well be speaking Chinese. Especially if they have no concept of prior seduction materials or community and they're fresh, with all their incorrect and totally fucking wrong ideas about men, women, sex and how to relate to women as men. You cannot ignore that fact that people are still people and although lots of people here are willing to put themselves in crazy situations for the sake of learning, many still need something that actually works.

This is my experience of a typical conversation in this sub when people of varying skills meet:

E.D: Women behave in X fashion. Doing X works on women because X.

Noob: Why would X work if women say they mostly like Y?

E.D: How many times do you go out?

Noob: 0

E.D: I go out 46x a week. I know what I'm talking about. You don't. Sit down and shut up brah!

^ How is this constructive to either people reading, or random noobie # 5856794856? On top of that, there's been a large influx of people who think they're WAY cooler than they actually are I've noticed people, including myself getting insulted for asking questions.

On top of that, I think there are a lot of people here that buy too much into things that are factually untrue but believe it works for them because they're good looking and/or have never had problems with women and seddit just increased their skills once over. They end up preaching things that, like you say, get down-voted to shit, and just creates rifts.

All that being said, no one going to post to /r/AskSeddit, because it sucks and you get 100x more responses here.

To conclude this rant, if your a newbie, with a very specific newbie question, please ask in r/askseddit. Alot of us who have experience lurk there, and give genuine advice.

I'd like to thank guys who take the time to help guys in AskSeddit. you are giving considerable help to this community. Splitting off some of the simple questions helps keep good material from scrolling off the front page in both seddit and AskSeddit, maximizing exposure and thus maximizing the possible responses.

You don't have to be a proPUA to help in AskSeddit. You just have to be a few steps ahead of the total novices. You know where the material is that helped you when you got started. You can point them in the right direction.

So I'd like to ask you guys to give more help to AskSeddit. I don't have enough spare time to give to AskSeddit. I don't get over there often enough, even though I'm about the only active moderator over there. In particular, if you see problems with trolls or abusive comments over in AskSeddit, PM me personally.

I wouldn't mind a rule that allowed mods to just delete any questions about a specific girl.
